Are you the kind of person who accepts responsibility for every experience, your health, your happiness and how you feel emotionally, what you attract into your life in terms of relationships? Or do you complain about how things are going for you?
Sometimes it seems like everything just happens willy-nilly and we have no control over our circumstances, how we feel or what is happening to us…however, most people don’t realize how our thoughts and beliefs create our feelings and have a direct correlation to our physical health. Accumulated negative thinking, stress and self-defeating self-talk, begins to gather as stuck energy in our body, which may cause illness, dis-ease and poor health.
You may actually contact and connect with your subconscious mind at the cellular level through a process of muscle testing. You will find that negative thoughts weaken you and positive thoughts make you strong. This has been proven.
So, how can you change your thoughts so you feel better and have a healthier more vibrant body? Or, so you feel happier more of the time? That is an excellent question, because the answer could change your life.

First is to become aware that you’re not feeling as good as you would like. Then take a deep breath and observe what you were just thinking about. Choose to think something empowering. This is a great use for affirmations. Catch yourself thinking something like: “I am so stupid!” to something empowering like: “I’m Beautiful and Loveable No Matter How I’m Feeling.” You could even say to yourself “cancel clear” before you pop in the positive thought to delete the previous negative thought. This technique is very effective.
It takes a little work at first, but if you stick with it, you’ll find yourself feeling better in no time and it gets easier.
Recently, the earth plane lost a beautiful soul and evolutionary leader, considered the Founder of the Self-Improvement Movement, Louise Hay, founder of Hay House Publishing.
In honor of her passing, I’d like to recommend her amazing book: You Can Heal Your Life. In it, Louise discusses how our thoughts and beliefs create specific physical manifestations and gives suggestions and instructions for positively changing old, stuck energy, to facilitate healing.
By changing your thought patterns, you have the ability to heal your body. It’s an amazing dictionary of the emotional energies that manifest as physical dis-ease and new positive affirmations you may say to yourself, in order to change the underlying belief.
Her book is a great introduction to what kind of beliefs and thoughts create dis-ease in our body. There are many new affirmations or clearing statements available in the book to help you create new thoughts and beliefs.
