7 Tips to Heal From Cancer

Updated: Apr 8, 2021

We've all been touched by Breast Cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and that means a time to acknowledge and remember all of those who have been affected by this terrible disease. It’s also a great time to schedule a physical or breast health exam. Exams are not just for women, men should be checked too.

October is also a great time to pause and take stock of our health and consider completing a cleanse.

Cleansing is important to do after every Summer, because eating outside, we can ingest parasites, which have also been linked to cancer and other digestive issues. If you’re dealing with a chronic illness, create a new healthy living plan for yourself so you recover quickly and come out stronger and healthier than you were before.

Hypnosis for Breast Cancer should be a part of your treatment, and recovery strategy, as our mind and body are one unit and your subconscious mind responds well to what you imagine.

Regardless of the particular health issue you are dealing with, your goal should include 1. Reduce discomfort and pain or 2. Heal and recover quickly and restore your good health.

Here are some tips to help you get there:

  1. Research healing foods. The body responds well to the right kind of food. Avoid foods and beverages, which can cause inflammation in the body. For example: dairy, wheat products, sugar, alcohol, coffee, corn, potatoes, eggs, soy. Most people do not realize these products may be causing an intolerance or even a stress reaction in a sensitive system. Stress reactions produce an acidic environment and stress out the body systems.Choose instead organic foods, vegetables and proteins which will create an alkaline environment. When the body’s ph is in balance, it can focus on what it does best…healing. Food can heal us. Be sure to choose non-GMO.

  2. Eliminate harmful substances: toxic cleaners, cigarettes (obviously,) alcohol, prescription drugs. Choose instead, alkalized water, use lemons or essential oils for cleaning, replace carpets with natural wood products, use a salt lamp or ionizer, or essential oils diffused in the air.

  3. Complete a gentle cleanse. There are many great products on the market which will help to cleanse toxins from your colon, intestines, liver and kidneys. By removing residual toxins from a perhaps more wild lifestyle, your body’s machinery is cleared out and can operate more efficiently. Drink lots of liquid Chlorophyll. Nature’s Sunshine Company has a minty version which is quite enjoyable. In some studies Chlorophyll has been shown to prevent cancer.

  4. Reduce stressful situations and negative conditions in your life. Nothing creates more imbalance than stress. Remember stress is caused by our own thinking, however, if someone or some situation continues to cause a negative or unhappy reaction in you, may be time to eliminate that person or situation from your life.

  5. Hypnosis and meditation is an absolute MUST! Your mind can heal your body. Your mind is in charge of how you feel. Keep your mind and thus your feelings focused on happiness, peace, love and gratitude. Learning to quiet the destructive “ego” thinking is key to being healthy.

  6. Take a time out to feed your soul. Visit places in nature, go hiking, biking or just relax on the beach enjoying the ocean waves and the salt air. Visit a cabin, curl up with a cup of tea and a good book. Turn off the TV!!! Turn on some beautiful music. Being quiet in nature is one of the most important things you can do to replenish yourself. Getting out of your daily grind and the energy of it….Wow! Nothing can be more helpful than a new perspective.

  7. Make it a Point to Be around uplifting and inspiring people. Sadly, some of our well-meaning loved ones are just too negative and needy, creating drama wherever they go. Refuse to be negative, no matter what you’re dealing with. Smile…the subconscious mind responds positively when you smile. Your smile sends a powerful message to your body to be happy…releases endorphins and makes others around you feel good as well. Sometimes, just smiling at another human being, raises the good vibrations and creates positive goodness all around!

As a bonus tip…sometimes doing something to help someone else in need can pull us out of our own worries. Dwelling on the challenge only feeds it more energy…it may be better for you to focus on something else. Also, stay out of your story. When we have potentially scary things going on, it may be tempting to tell everyone your story about it. This is counter-productive. It’s better to let it go and instead talk about what you’re going to be doing next month or next year. Plan a vacation and talk about that.

I have always found that serving others in need takes me out of my own head and diminishes my fears and worries. Find others who could use some help…serve at your local food kitchen or start a blanket drive for the homeless. It’s amazing what a little kindness can do to lift our own spirits!

If you’re up to it…take someone else to their doctor appointment, read to them or just hang out with someone and be a friend.

Your Health is Your Number One Goal in Life...Everything begins with good health and you're going to remember that and be gentle, loving and kind to yourself! You're doing the best you can and that's all there is.

Much Love and Light to You!

Warmly, Suzie Bowers, CHt
